In School our initiative is to help in societal change and empowerment of our stake holder. This initiative is long-term, deliberate and focused. The intent of this initiative is to improve the “Quality of education” – so that life opportunities and possibilities are expanded for everyone, including the disadvantaged.
In this very process of education “Content” and “means” of transaction remains a challenging task of our concern area in this Endeavour. As parents and teachers, we are aware that education is much more than rote learning and examinations. And this concern made us to ask ourselves, why then has school education been reduced to mere information processing and testing? Why have the needs of children as children and as learners been relegated to the back shelf by formal systems of education?
Being in disagreement with pre-existing rote method and inappropriate content, after an intensive research we as school established a theoretical framework which helped us to prepare our own curriculum which addresses the major component and crisis lying within this domain.
